From March 16 to 19, the Faculty of Communication at Vilnius University will once again be buzzing with activity as it hosts Information Days (InDi)!

From March 16 to 19, the Faculty of Communication at Vilnius University will once again be buzzing with activity as it hosts Information Days (InDi)! These four days will transform the faculty into a space not only for study, but also for discussion, ideas, and inspiration.

The team organizing this event, which has been held since 2002, invites students of the Faculty of Communication and guests to get involved and visit the InDi events!

InDi innovations

This year's Information Days are special in that, along with the event program, the InDi identity has also been renewed: the logo and abbreviation (from ID, InfoDi to InDi) have changed, a communication guide has been created, and the communication direction has been refined.

This year, InDi is working closely with various student initiatives: the VU Young Journalists' Association, the VU Faculty of Communication Student Scientific Association, and the VU Hiking Club. In this way, we are striving not only to forge new connections, but also to respond to the interests of students.

Events not only in March

Even before the main Information Days week began, two introductory events were held, which served as an excellent introduction to the upcoming intense but adventure-filled week.

The first event took place in November, when we invited students to an orientation game around the city of Vilnius. The teams had to solve various tasks, the locations of which they had to discover themselves based on artistic clues. After the orienteering, participants enjoyed a musical quiz and mini-competitions.

In cooperation with the VU Young Journalists Association, the second introductory Indi event took place, during which journalism professionals such as Jūratė Damulytė, Birutė Davidonytė, and Edvardas Kubilius talked about what it means to be a journalist today.

What's next?

The first day of InDi starts on March 16!

At 6 p.m., we invite you to an open conversation with one of the most prominent songwriters of the younger generation, Gabriele Vilkickyte. The discussion will focus on creativity, sensitivity, and the search for meaning in turbulent times. This is an opportunity to hear what lies behind the songs and how art helps us not to lose our sensitivity in everyday life. You can register for the event here.

On Tuesday, March 17, two different but equally interesting activities await you.

From 10:00 to 13:00, there will be a Contact Fair, where you will be able to meet representatives of various companies, learn about internship or job opportunities, their activities, and career paths.

Later, students can participate in Quiz x Hike, organized in collaboration with the VU Hiking Club. This is an unconventional activity that combines physical movement and mental challenges. On the approximately 6 km route, you will not only have to hike, but also solve tasks – so get ready for a good mood and excitement! You can register your team here.

On the third day of the event cycle, March 18, we invite you to change your surroundings.

At 12:00 p.m., there will be a tour of the LRT studio, where students will be able to see up close how the national broadcaster works and what goes on behind the scenes of television and radio. Registration for the tour can be found here.

In the evening, we invite you to a more relaxed and playful part of the program – KomVibe, which is taking place for the first time this year! There will be a table football championship, Just Dance, a lottery, snacks, and prizes. It's a great opportunity to relax, socialize, and enjoy the evening together. You can register your team here.

We will end InDi week with a bang!

On March 19, starting at 5:30 p.m., there will be a closing evening – the final chord of InDi'26! Three performers and bands will take the stage: One Night Only, Orai, and Kristijonas Ribaitis. Live music, energy, and atmosphere await, allowing you not only to end Information Days, but also to celebrate them properly.

During the evening, participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy a somewhat unexpected experience – a visit to a tarot card reader. This is an opportunity to look into the future and end InDi week with a little mystery and curiosity, so grab your ticket while you still can!
